About the Speaker
Annesta Duodu is a lawyer whose work focuses on music licensing opportunities and policy research and development for the recorded music sector. She is Associate Counsel to Music Canada, whose major label members are engaged in all aspects of the recording industry and actively develop and nurture Canadian talent throughout the world. She is also Associate Counsel to CONNECT Music Licensing (CONNECT), which represents artist entrepreneurs and record companies of all sizes who own or control the copyright in the majority of sound recordings and music videos produced and distributed in Canada.
