Ask a Lawyer: Legal Basics for Artists

Hosted in partnership with the Al and Malka Green Artists’ Health Centre, this virtual session is intended provide participants the opportunity to ask a lawyer questions related to their creative practices and careers, and to learn about some of the common legal questions faced by artists.

Whether you have questions about copyright and intellectual property rights, need guidance navigating contracts, or are simply looking to learn more about legal considerations relevant for artists, this event is intended to provide a relaxed space for artists and creators to engage with an arts and entertainment lawyer and have their general questions answered.
