In terms of immediate support for creators, ALAS has prepared a list of resources for creators, outlining the different economic and informational support measures being offered by Governmental and Private sources. This list is available here, and will be updated periodically as new information becomes available.

ALAS has also prepared a post on the emergency benefits being offered by the Canadian Government, including for workers who may not qualify for EI. The post is available here, and as new details become available we will follow up with additional information.

If you are a creator who is seeking support and/or information in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, please do not hesitate to contact us to let us know what types of resources would be of assistance.
